De wetenschap laat ons echter ook zien dat het mogelijk is om dit proces om te keren door warme en koude lucht te mengen en een \u200b\u200bmeer gematigde omgeving te cre\u00ebren, ook wel luchtdestratificatie genoemd.<\/p>\n<h5>WAAROM DESTRATIFICATIE?<\/h5>\n<p>Tijdens de wintermaanden hoeven koude vingers en tenen niet de norm te zijn voor u of uw medewerkers. De simpele werking van destratificatie van de warmte die door uw HVAC unit wordt geleverd of vastzit tegen het plafond, kan dit probleem gemakkelijk verhelpen. En de voordelen gaan verder dan temperatuurbeheersing. Ze zijn drieledig: kostenbesparingen, productiviteitsniveaus van werknemers en verminderd energieverbruik.<\/p>\n<h5>KOSTENBESPARINGEN<\/h5>\n<p>In de zomer zal de ventilator naar verwachting helpen bij het reguleren van de temperatuur, wat resulteert in lagere koelkosten voor de faciliteit. Het is echter net zo belangrijk om te profiteren van de besparingen die in de winter kunnen worden gerealiseerd. Dankzij de gecontroleerde luchtcirculatie vermengt de warme lucht van het plafond zich met de koelere lucht op de vloer van het gebouw. Plant Engineering beweert dat door destratificatie &#8220;nog grotere voordelen te zien zijn bij koud weer&#8221; met de HVLS ventilator, terwijl schattingen laten zien dat er wel 30% energiebesparing kan worden behaald. Dit levert gedurende het hele jaar meetbare kostenbesparingen op.<\/p>\n<h5>\u200b\u200bPRODUCTIVITEITSNIVEAU VAN WERKNEMERS<\/h5>\n<p>Het is wetenschappelijk bewezen dat het prestatieniveau van een medewerker daalt als de temperatuur te hoog oploopt. Hetzelfde geldt voor koud weer. Een artikel gepubliceerd in Psychological Science schatte zelfs dat een werkgever tot 12,5% van de loonkosten per werknemer zou kunnen besparen door de temperatuur een paar graden te verhogen. Dit komt nog vaker voor in gebouwen met hogere plafonds, zoals productie-, verwerkings- en opslagfaciliteiten waar de inzet van het vermogen van een HVLS ventilator hard nodig is om een \u200b\u200bmerkbaar verschil te maken. Bovendien, wanneer de HVAC unit belast wordt, zijn de onderhoudsvereisten hoger.
